Designer/Artist

A native of Brooklyn, New York, she had an early love of drawing and music and would spend whatever time she had creating and studying both. Throughout those years, she earned a degree in interior design and continued her studies in architecture and design criticism. Ultimately, she studied her art with many prominent artists. She is internationally recognized and is a popular award-winning designer & artist.

An accomplished artist/illustrator, Gail has been involved in design, architecture, teaching, and art for more than 35 years. Her career has spanned all aspects of design and art with an emphasis in interior design. She is accomplished as an ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) certified and registered interior designer, home stager, professor of history of architecture & design, photographer, artist juror, writer, design critic, realtor®, and the founder of the nationally accredited Interior Design Institute. Besides teaching at her school, she has also taught at the New York School of Interior Design, Kean College in Union, New Jersey, the former King’s College, Briarcliff Manor, Tarrytown, New York and in Connecticut at the University of New Haven, University of Bridgeport and Fairfield University.

As an interior designer with architectural training, Gail incorporates her drawing skills and painting into her art and illustrative work. Her sought-after award-winning work is represented in private collections, galleries, museums and corporations in the states and abroad.
